My jewelry career began on the beaches of the Caribbean walking with the love of my life, my husband Chip. We collected seaglass as we walked the beaches and I displayed these beautiful gems in glass vases and jars. They were all so pretty that one day I attended a wire wrapping class and learned how to wrap the seaglass to make pendants. That just tickled my desire to work with silver and seaglass so I found my way to a silversmithing seminar in the Appilachian mountains. I then found my local chapter of silversmiths and have never looked back. I always thought my second career would be to teach business classes at the local junior college but my path has changed and now I Have a jewelry studio and gallery in the small town of New Smyrna Beach, Fl. Here I am able to display my work as well as teach other aspiring metalsmith's to make their own jewelry. While seaglass will always be my first and primary passion, I have grown to love many other mediums and techniques so you will see these features In my other collections as well. I hope you enjoy my jewelry as much as I love making it.
